PART XII. regulates the.-use-of. public buildings, enclosures and grounds and the licensing of public buildings and fees payable therefor. PART XIII. regulates the use of the abattoir and fixes fees for slaughtering thereon, and generally regulates the sale rnd storage of 'meat, regulates the conduct of all persons using the abattoir and prevention of improper conduct therein, tl>« licensing of butchers, vendors and purveyors of meat and foes payable therefor, Tegulates lite use of butchers' shops and mode of erection, and'provides for the proper carrying out of all sanitary and other arrangements in connection with such shops. PART XIV. regulates dairies apd milk supply, and the. inspection, lighting, ventilation, cleansing, drainage and water supply of dairies and milk shops, and the licensing of dairies and milk shops and of milk carts, and fixes fees payable therefor. PART XV. regulates-the licensing and duties of 'wircmen and the supply of electricity works connected therewith, and fixes fees for licenses and charges for supply of electricity. PART XVI. regulates water supply and works connected therewith and fixes charges for ordinary and extraordinary water supply, the connection of all build-' ings with the water supply and ■what 1 material to be used anfc sizes of pipes and taps, and fixes fees for inspection of all' works and testing of taps, cisterns and meters. PART XVII. regulates the use and' control of public libraries, the use of libraries generally by the public, and subscriptions payable thereto, and provides for the maintenance of quietness and good order therein.
PART XVIII. regulates the use of public baths and bathing generally and fixes fees for the use of the public baths and provides for the good conduct of all persons frequenting the public baths or bathing on the beach and for mixed bathing and the wearing of proper bathing costumes. (PART. XIX. regulates the' licensing and control of billiard saloons . and fixes fees therefor and the conduct of all persons frequenting the same and the prevention of all gaming,, and wagering therein. / BART XX. provides for tlic regulating and licensing of boardinghouses and fixes fees payable therefor, and for the proper eonduet of such houses and limiting the numbers to be lodged in a boarding-house and in each r-gont thereof, and for the proper separation of the sexes. PART XXI. regulates the licensing and proper conduct of all hawkers and pedlars, and keepers of coffee or other street stalls, and fixes fees for tho same.
PART XXTI. provides for the licensing of portera, criers and bellringers and fixes fees for such license and the charges to be made by such porters, criers and bellringers and for their proper conduct. PART XXni. regulates the use and and management of the cemetery and fixes the size and charges for tlie purchase of burial lots and also fees payable in respect of burials and the keeping clean of graves and as to the erection of headstones and monuments and of family vaults.' PART XXIV. provides rules of procedure at meetings of the Council. The said Resolution will be submitted for confirmation to a special meeting of the Council to be held at the Council Chambers, King Street, New Plymouth, -on WEDNESDAY, the 19th dray or May, 1915, at 7.30 p.m., at which meeting the day of the coming into force of the By-Laws will be fixed. A copy of the proposed Special Order and By-Laws is deposited at the office of the Council in King Street, New (Plymouth, where the same will lie open for public inspection, during office hours, from the 10th day of May, 1915, until the said confirming meeting is held.
