TROUBLE OVER WOOL SALES. NEGOTIATIONS PROCEEDING. Received April 20, 10.15 p.m. Sydney, April 20. A deadlock occurred over the proposed resumption of the Sydney wool sales today. Though it was stated on behalf of the. brokers would be made to get the wool expeditiously away, the buyers, in view of the unreliability of the' present shipping facilities, and the possible shortage of freight, ov ing to the Government taking over snips, asked for the cancellation of the condition of sale, stipulating for six per centum interest on the settlement of accounts running foV longer than a fortnight. The brokers declined to confedu this, and negotiations are proceeding, the sales being indefinitely postponed.
