AUS RAILWAY OCCUPIED. COMMUNICATION RESTORED. Received April 20, 0.30 p.m. Capetown, April'2o. General Smuts has occupied the Aus railway, and communication from Aus with Garub and Duderitzbught has been restored. This is of immense importance to the Southern Union forces in removing their food transport difficulties, the Germans having completely destroyed the line between Garub and Aus, and wrecked the bridges.
