TURKISH TRENCHES ATTACKED.
BOMBARDMENT PROCEEDS. London, April 25. Renter's • correspondent on board 11.M.5. Triumph reports that when thov entered the Dardanelles the 7.5 in. guns opened fire on the trenches at the western end of the Gallipoli peninsula at a range of 7000 yards. After half an hour the Triumph changed her position. A howitzer battery on the •Asiatic shore dropped sixteen shells in a quarter of an hour. Tliree struck the Triumph, inflicting trifling damage, and two men were wounded. The Triumph silenced the howitzers in a few minutes and resumed the bombardment of the trenches. TURKISH AEROPLANES CAPTURED. Athens, April 2.5. The Allied ships brought down two Turkish aeroplanes which wen' flying over Tenedos. The bombardment of the straits continues.
