BRITISH HOLD THEIR POSITIONS. London, April 2S. Ofl'ieial.—The Allies continue to progress in Belgium. Tlie British held all their positions. I'aris, April 25. A communique states that tlie British, French and Belgian counter-attacks continue successfully against two German "army corps. The Germans continue to use asphyxiating gases. ;\Ve made considerable progress northwards on the. right bank of the Yser canal. The British repulsed the counter-attack mentioned in the last communique, and held all positions. A German division, on a front of less than a kilometre (1100 yards), bent! back t'le French line from Colonne to the Mouse heights; ' A counter-attack swept hack the Germans.
