OBITUARY.
C'APTALV J, !1, ARMSTKONU. The death occurred sit Waitnra off Saturday of Captain .1. I], Armstrong, a well-known resident of Die district. Tin; late Captain Armstrong cairn; to the district at the ago of eighteen years, and resided with his uncle. the lato Major Lloyd, of Omatu. Hp was-the son of a rector of a cbnrnV in Ireland. He saw service through tnc Tarana.kk. war, and was in "command of the company of military settlers which was allotted tli© Tikorangi block after the war, and lie resided at Tikorangi. Tftu late Captain Armstrong was in his SOtli year. He is survived liy his widow, two Rons (Messrs. John Armstrong, of Waitara, and F. C; Armstrong, of Mahoenui) and three daughters (Mrs. C. M. I.cpper, Mrs. P. P. Corkill, ahd Mrs. W. T. .Toll). The funeral will take place today at 2.30 p.m. at the Te Hcnui Cemetery.
