THE REPULSE AT SHAIBA. THE TURKISH FORCE BROKEN. London, April 22. The India Office states that the defeat of the Turks at Shaiba was more complete than was hoped. They abandoned motor cars, a gun, and ammunition wagons. Turncoat Arab tribesmen harassed the Turkish rout. There are persistent rumors that Suliman Askeri, the com-mander-iii-chief, committed suicide. The enemy's casualties were six thousand from April 12th to l!ith.
