MR. FAIRBAIRN'S CHALLENGE. By Telegraph.— Press Association. Christchurch, April 22. Mr. Andrew Fairbairn, merchant, has sent to the local newspapers a copy of his evidence (riven before, the Food Trices Commission. He says that if the evidence is true the finding of the Commission is unwarranted, and if the evidence .is false lie should be prosecuted for perjury. He says Mr. Massey has asked the Commission to investigate alleged cases of exploitation. He is prepared to substantiate on oath every charge in the evidence, provided it is uneensored and open to the public and the press.
