NEW PLYMOUTH. Subject to necessary alterations, mails close at the Chief Post Office as under:For Auckland and north, per steamel Tuesday and Friday, at 7 p.m. and daily, per train, at 0.15 a.m. For Wellington and South, daily at fi.ls a.m. and 12.20 p.m. For Wanganui and intermediate offices daily < at G. 15 a.m., 12.20 p.m., and 3.55 p.m.
WEDNESDAY, APRIL 21. For Australian States, South Africa, China, Japan, Straits Settlements and East Indies, also Samoa and Fiji (per 5.9. Ulimaroa, from Wellington), at 12.20 p.m. (Money orders close 11 a.m.) MONDAY, APRIL 26.
For Australian States, South Africa and Strait's Setlements, via Auckland, at 0.15 a.m. TUESDAY, APRIL 27. For Tasmania, via Bluff, at 6.15 a.m. The times for closing mails for places beyond the Dominion are liable to alteration (earlier or later). Registered letters, parcel post parcels, and, unless otherwise specified, moneyorders, close one hour before the ordinary mail. C. H. BURTON. limei Postmaster.
