NEW ZEALAND CHAMPIONSHIP. By Telegraph.—Press Association. iPahnerston North, Last Night. The New Zealand clay bird championship was fired at Palmerston North today. E. R. King (Tauranga) and D. Fraser (Napier) vied for first place, taking £39 14s each. The shoot-off resulted in E. R. King winning the title. L. Hughes (Auckland) and H. Jensen (Carterton), .€'/ 2s each, were the other winners.
The sweepstake resulted in 11. Clinch (Auckland) and H. Jansen (Carterton) dividing £29; W. Woolven (Wanganui) £5 4s.
