Butter. —The market is quiet and prices have been irregular during the week. Danish, per cwt, 142s to 1435; New Zealand, 132s and 134s up to 1355, unsalted 138s to 140s; Australian, 128 a to 130s; Siberian, 128s to 130s; Argenwhitc 96s to 98b, colored 94s to 903 1 New Zealand white and colored t)3s, tine, 128s to 130s. Cheese.—There has been no alteration in the market since last week. Hemp.—The market is quiet, with a tendency in favor of buyers. The output from Manila for. the week was 25,000 bales. Hops.—The market is weak and inactive in anticipation of the Government liquor legislation, and buyers arc scarce. English, per cwt, 80s; Californian, 70s. Wheat. —The market is firmer, and there is more demand, owing to th» Government not buying at present. Canadian and American, on passage 64s per quarter, April or May 04s; Argentine, on passage 62s 2d. Oats.—The market is quiet and rather steadier. Argentine, on passage 20s per quarter.
