CHARGE OF MANSLAUGHTER.
A FATAL COLLISION. By Telegraph.—-Press Association. Invercargill, Last Night. A coronial inquiry was held to-day reyarding the deat.li of William aged 33 years, who died as the result of injuries received on Easter Monday evening, when a motor car_ driven by Louis Fosbender collided with a cart driven by the deceased. After tlie. liO'lvin", which lasted six hours, the coroner found that death was due to rupture of the liver caused by bis being violently thrown from a cart in consequence of collision with a motor car negligently driven by Louis Fosbender. Fosbender was arrested and charged with manslaughter, and was remanded till Wednesdav. bail being fixed at £SOO.
