A deputation from the Ohura county councillors and settlers was introduced to the Ministers of Finance and I'uJjlie Wcrl.R to-diy by Mr. \V. T. Jennings, Ml'. Tlki cliairnian of the county counc'.l, Mr. Lyon, brought forward mattera in connection with the W«ltewhenua nmd loan, Hapurua, Waikaka, Matiore, Mirohinao, and Otanginao-Mangapapa vc.uls. The Ministers/promised full coosidciition of the requests. Mr. Jennings brought under their notice the position of the IVimeraiigi road, in the Kawhia district, and the position of the Okakukura tunnels. Satisfactory replies were given in connection with these matters. Mr. Bonaync, Ohura county councillor, yulnked the Ministers for the sympathetic relics given to the requests,
