HOSPITAL AT TREOTHAM. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, April 15. The Council of the British Medical Association has forwarded to the .Minister of Defence £1505 collected by! divisions of the association in New Zealand towards the cost of a hospital at Trentham. Allen on the registration figures which have been compiled up to March 31, although, as he said, a good many have registered since that date. However, at March 31 there were on the register 2458 men, of whom G52 were Territorials and 1806 civilians. Those medically fit and available at the same date numbered 1933, of whom 559 Were territorials and 1374 civilians. "That shows," said the Minister, "that what we Imvc clone since the new scheme of registration was established. T think it is very satisfactory. I would like to call attention to this fact, that whereas of the number registered 2C.5 per cent, .were Territorials, of the total number medically fit and available 29 per cent, were Territorials."
