Bewley, local agent) reports the following quotations for shares: Talisman 20s, 25s Od, sales 25s fid; Waihi 45s fid, 45s 3d, sales 45s (id'. Junctions 265, 25s !)d, sales 25s i)d; Sylvia Bd, sd; Ross lOd, BJd; Bank of New Zealand £ll 2s, £11; New Zealand Insurance £0 3s, £6 2s. L. A. NOLAN & CO.'S HIDE SALH. Messrs L. A. Nolan & Co. submitted a large catalogue at their hide, 3km, and wool sale on Tuesday, 13th inst., the entries in all departments being considerably above the average. Very satisfactory prices were obtained, the competition being keen for every lot. Fleece and lambs' wool ranged from lid to I2!fd. Prices for hides were still en the upward grade. ;
