ADJOURXKD MEETING. | The adjourned meeting of the Eg-' mont County Council was held on Monday at Opunake. Present: Messrs. M. Fleming (chairman) and Councillors! Dudley, Mcßcynolds, McXei], Wright and Young. | _ Watinp and Patiki Roads.—lt was decided to allocate revenue on a mileage basis, and as regards the former road tenders for 200 yards on the northern end were called, returnable l>v 'April 21. Tait's contract, Ca'rrington Road, then , came up for discussion regarding claim for £l23—Moved by Councillors Wright [ and McNeil that an additional .€SO he T»aid. An amendment that £75 he allowed (Dudley—Young) was lost on the ; voices. | New Offices.—Mr. Tong waited on | the council regarding tender for new j offices, and it was decided, on the motion of Councillors McXeil and Dudley, that tender of £725 for new buildings he accepted, and £25 compensation for cancellation of contract for new office and club-house be paid. j The council then rose. i
