AMERICA. "BERNSTORFF MUST GO." AMBASSADOR OVERSTEPS THE MARK. AMERICA ANNOYED A LAST. Received April 13, 10.50 p.m. Washington, April 13. Count BeriistorfFs memorandum has created a sensation in oilicial circles, especially that portion charging the President and his advisers with accepting England's violation of international law. Officials also complain that Count BernstorlV betrayed a secret, as tlie Note was confidential, without the consent of the American Government. The New York Herald heads an article: " Bur nst or IT Must Go," and adds: "His act was a deliberate defiance of the United States Government. If he is not recalled, he must lie given his passports immediately."
ITALY. PRO-WAR DEMONSTRATIONS. Ronie, April 12. Fifty nersons have been arrested on account of a pro-war demonstration. The police prevented the crowd from marching on the Austrian and German Embassies. Thirty persons- were injured. There were similar demonstrations throughout Italy on Sunday.
