FORECAST. By Telegraph.—Press' Association, Wellington, Last Night. '.Following is Mr. Bates's weather forecast: —■ Present indications arc for strong and squally northerly winds, probably changing by west to south in from 24 to 36 hours. Expect unsettled and cloudy weather, especially in and southward of Cook Strait, and rain following generally; barometer rising temporarily in the south, but a further fall is anticipated.
