NEW PLYMOUTH. Subject to necessary alterations, mails close at the Chief Post Office as under:^ For Auckland and north, per steamer Tuesday and Friday, at 7 p.m. and daily, per train, at 0.15 a.m. For Wellington and South, daily at 6.15 a.m. and 12.20 p.m. For Wanganui and intermediate offices daily ( at 0.15 a.m., 12.20 p.m., and 3.55 p.m. TUESDAY, APRTL 13. For Rarotonga and Tahiti (per ss. Tavinni, from Auckland), at 7 p.m. WEDNESDAY, APRIL 14. .For Australian States, South Africa, Ceylon, India, China, Japan, Strait Settlement, East Indies, Eastern and Mediterranean ports; also United Kingdom ami Continent of Europe, for specially addressed correspondence, marked "via Suez" only, at 12.20 p.m.; money-or-ders close 11 a.m.; due London May 23. 3

For Fiji, via Auckland, at 0.15 a.m. The times for closing mails for places beyond the Dominion are liable to alteration (earlier or later).
