The Chronicle's Mitylene correspondent reports that warships bombarded the iner forts on the 4t'.i and 7th, and fires broke out. MINE-SWEEPING RESUMED. Received April 11, 5.5 p.m. Paris, April 10. A communique states that mine-sweep-ing at the entrance to the inlet at Clian.ak is eonitnued nightly, the dragging voxels aeting under lite direction of vvto large battleships. The Turkish oppo ,'ilion is feeble and ineffective. FP.S ; .f!CH IMr- FORCE EN ROUTE. EGYPT AS A BASE. Received April 11, 5.5 p.m. Paris, April 10. Official: The expeditionary force completed their Levant voyage under the best conditions, and disembarked at Alexandria, where, they are prepared to aid fee Allied fleets and the British expedition.
