FATAL FALL FROM A HORSE. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Waipawa, April 13. Miss Marion Oodfrey died yesterday as tlie result of injuries received by being thrown from a horse at Waipukuran on Tuesday. She was found unconscious on the road and never vegained consciousness. SUPPOSED SELF-SUFFOCATION. Christtfmrch, Last Night. A married woman named Winifred Cliss, residing at Richmond, is alleged to have attempted suicide this afternoon. She was found in a room halt suffocated, having closed the doors and turned on t.'io gas. Medical aid was called, and it is expected that there will be. no ill results.
