PROPOSED EDUCATIONAL REFORM. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright. Received April 11, 5.5 p.m. Sydney, April 10. At the Labor Conference the president announced that the censure motions had ended. A motion urging the Government to appoint a Royal Commission to inquire into the system of education, with a view of evolving a system acceptable to the whole community, including 25 per cent, of Roman Catholics, was defeated by 08 to 39.
