"CHARLEY'S AUNT." A splendid house greeted the "Charleys Aunt" Comedy Company in the lheatre Royal last night, when the old and favorite comedy was revived by an excellent combination. Mr. Norman Aitkcn had a very difficult role to maintain m the impersonation of Charley's Aunt, but "he was equal to "the task, an d the situations he was at times placed in kept the audience in a continual state of merriment. Mr. Norman Hales as "Mr. Spcttiguc" Mr. Kenneth Aitken as "Colonel Sir Frances Chutney," Mr. C. Bentley Russell as " Jack Chestneyv" and Mr. Frederic Hughes as " Charley Wyckham," took their parts exceptionally well, while the butler (Mr. George Burnette) seemed to be born to the part. The lady members of the company, Misses Ruby Scott, Marie Fix, Ethel Lissack, and Mabel Hardinge Halfcby filled their respective roles splendidly. The compamy make their final, appearance to-niglit in "The Private [Secretary." In their able liamls the evergreen comedy will not suffer one whit, and should attract another good audience.
