By Telegraph.—Press Association. Waipawa, Yesterday.

A ballot for twelve sections, aggregating about 0000 acres, being portion of the Gwavas estate, which was acquired by the Government, ivas held to-day, when Kis selectors put in 54G applications, all parts of the Dominion being represented. The ballot resulted as follows:—Section 1, L. Langley, Hastings; section 2, R. A. McKay, Waipawa; section 3, R. W. Cassidy, Napier; section 4, (J. MeMillin, Dannevirke; section 5, A. S. Ilodd, Pahiatua; section fl, V. Condrict, Pikokino; section 7, W. Chalmers, Waipukurau; section 8, C. R. Vesty, Tikokino; section 0, P. Brassingto'n, Christchurch; section 43, A. Foulds, Tikokino; section 144, M. Smith, Ngatapu; section 45, A. Rumbal, Tikokino.
