Sydney, April 8. The weather is clearing, ] m t is still showery. Owing to the soddcimess of the tracks the remaining Pandwick fixtures have been postponed till Saturday and Monday.
YEARLING BLOOD STOCK SALES,
Received April 8, 0.50 n m. Sydney, April 8. At the yearling sales there was an improved attendance, tout bidding was still casv. One hundred" aniTtwenty-two lots from various studs brought £23,1102. the top prices toeing paid for: Mountain Kinir—Becbee colt, 1000 gns.; Maltster— Ardea colt, 1(100 gns.; Downshire— Desert Rose filly, 1100 gns.; LaddieSilver filly, MSO'giis.; Charlemagne II Grafin filly, 750 gns.; Charlemagne II Cello filly, 750 gns.; Downsliire—Gavotte colt, Grafton—Shuffle eolt, Cliarlcnuij; .to —Lady Grafton colt, 800 gns. each. A. Hall, of New Zealand, paid 13G gns. for a Sir Tristram —Bonecn fily; and W.S. McLcod 05 gns. for a Trcssady—Princess Melton filly.
