FIGHTING IN THE CARPATHIANS. INCREASED VIOLENCE.
Amsterdam, April 7. A semi-oflicial message from Vienna states that the increased violence of the lighting in the Carpathians synchronises with the advent of fine weather. Tremendous fighting is proceeding on both slopes from the Ondatra Valley to the Uzsok 'Pass. The communique warns the public not to under-estimate the enemy's local successes.
