Received April 9, 1 a.m. London, April 8. The Morning Post's Amsterdam correspondent says that the Allies have taken up the: offensive in the whole of tile Yser region.

Heavy artillery, duels are taking place, and the Germans are losing heavily. The struggle is particularly fierce near Lombacrtzyde.

The Begian infantry, supported by British warships, is systematicalysheliing the coast fortifications and constantly atatcking in the Lombaertzyde region
