MAORI TROOPS ARRIVE,
A FEATURE OF GREAT REVIEW,
PRAISE FOR. AUSTRALASIANS,
Received April 7, 10.50" p.m. Sydney, April 7. ■Mr. Bean cabled on March 31st that the Maori contingent had reached Cairo on Friday. Spectators remarked tlat of all the troops engaged in the great reviews on Sunday and Monday the Maoris appeared the most splendid. The reviews were in two portions, for Australian and New Zealand troops. Monday's was in some wavtf the "most remarkable event of military history in Australasia. A British officer said: "When you think of the condition of the Australasian forces two years ago, and then see such troops completely ready to move anywhere, it gives you something to think about."
