COMMISSION ARRIVES IN WELLINGTON. By Telegraph.—Press Association. "Wellington, Last Night. Members of the Japanese Trade Commission deputed to investigate the scope of the commercial relations which may he established with Australia and New Zealand arrived in Wellington by ths Mokoia from Sydnevi this evening. The members of the Commission here ore Mr. Jissel Mura ( secretary of the Jap, anese Department of Commerce), Mr, M. Kishidn, and Dr. Oltana (secretary). Other members have remained in Australia. T'le visitors will remain in Wellington until Uie 13th inst., when they will go to Christelmrch until the 19th. They will then proceed to Auckland, and leave there on the 27th by the Riverm*for Sydney, en route fon .Tamin. On arrival at Queen's Wharf to-night they were met by Mr. W. Tripe (representing Mr. Thomas Young, the Japanese Co* sul, who is at present out of town). The main object pof the Commission ill to ascertain to wnat extent Japanese manufacturers in glass, cloctricarTiundries, fancy goods, and clothing can be absorbed by Australia and New Zealand.
