Cheese. —Market quiet, but steady. Canadian white and colored, 94s to 9Ss per ewt; New Zealand, white and colored, 03s to 945; .Australian, SBs to 925; United States, 88s to 90s; large Cheddar shapes up to 04s; English Cheddar, 98s to 102s. '

Ilemp.—Market returns firm, especially for near at- hand shipments. On account of congestion at the docks, spot parcels command premium. The output from Manila for the week was 20,000 bales.

Oats. —Market inactive. Argentine, 28s 0d per quarteer, on passage. Kauri gum.—Nothing has been offered. Imports for February were one ton. f-itock on February 28 was 346- tons.
