BRITISH WAR PRISONERS.

PUNISHED FOR INSUBORDINATION

Received April 0, 12.20 a.m. London, April 5

Reports from Doberitz state that British prisoners refused to work, and the Germans threatened to employ them on the highways and canals. The men were punished only on the recommendation of their own sergeants, and then tied to trees. The prisoners are not allowed <o smoke, and luive ample, supplies of food, but complain of its quality.
