TURKISH FORT SHELLED
BY FRENCH CRUISER.
Received April 4, 5.5 p.m. Paris, April 2.
A communique states that the cruiser Pessaix destroyed a Turkish fort in the Gulf of Akaha. The Dentro Cisteauj:, when passing Ghuzzeh, was attacked from the shores, and retaliated by bombarding the town and Turkish troops.
