At all the great watering-place.} the performances given on tlu; sands by pierrots and strolling minstrels are an attractive feature, and the public can be sure 'of a good programme on tile sands at the East End on Easter Monday, when the Merry Pierrots are performing. A distinctly novel feature will be the appearance of the two .smallest comedians in the world. This little, novelty was first introduced to the Uritli'sh 'pulbljict (by Maskeleyue and Devant, the famous London entrepeneurs. A hearty laugh is assured by the antics of these two small characters, who are fine singing and (lancing comedians. The fun will •he bright and brisk all day.. The heavy fresh down the Henui river yesterday morning has had a splendid effect, and with the erection of.a substantial weir a splendid sheet of water will be available for the aquatic, sports.
