RIFLE SHOOTING.
NEW PLYMOUTH v. WANGANUI. A team of fourteen men from the Wangamil Rifle Club will arrive in Now 1 lyinouth to-inorrow night by the mail tram and will fire a match against the local club on Saturday morning, commencing at 9 a.m. The conditions of the match are seven shots at each of the 300 500 and 000 yards ranges. Two or tin™ of the Wanganui team will return by the mid-day train, but the balance will remain until Monday morning and will fire a match against Waverley on the return journey. 'They will be'taken to the oil fields o„ Saturday afternoon, and will visit oilier points of interest about the town on Sunday, as the guests of the local club.
The New Plymouth team will comprise R.lemen Short, Humphries, Bmco, Mc Wlnrtcr, hvans, Oliver, Hill, Blanchctt, Arnold, Marett, Higgs, Coppcn, Nichol" and Keating.
