CONTRACT LOT. A contract has just been lot for the ,_' additions to St. Mary's Church, New Plymouth, which will form the Govctt memorial. Thev provide a new north. transept 27ft by 27ft, and a lady chapel 20ft Oin by 17ft. The addition* have been designed by Mr. Frank Messenger, and they will be constructed in stone to correspond with the church. | The doors will lie of concrete covered • willi decolete, a patent preparation.' - The contract price is £lOlO, and the ■ contractors are Messrs. Wallpolc Darlinston, and Patterson, of WanganuL The work itself will be supervised by Mr. Patterson, who is a practical stone* mason and a specialist in this pritticu* lnr class of work. Masons have already commenced dressing the stone, and in the course of a few weeks will prepare . the foundations.
