INDICTED.

' There, was a groat demonstration at Kuakura State I'Vm or instruction today tn farewell Mr. Primrose McConncll, the manager, farmers from all parts of the province were present. The function took the form of a picnic, the officers of the farm placing their services at the disposal of the visitors, who spent a profitable dav viewing the experimental plots. Mr. McConncll was presented with a purse of sovereigns and an illuminated address expressive of appreciation of his services to the agricultural community in the Dominion and in the cause of 'agricultural science. Mr. McConncll, in reply, made a strong indictincut of the Civil Service Commission, whose operations, he said, killed individualism, hampered progress, ft ml opposed the interests of science.,
