MAIL NOTICES.

NEW PLYMOUTH.

Subject to necessary alterations, mails close at the Chief Post Office as under:—•

For Auckland and north, per steamer Tuesday and Thursday, at 7 p.m., and daily, per train, at (U5 a.m.

For Wellington and South, daily at 0.15 a.m. and 12.20 pjn. For Wanganui and intermediate offices daily, at G. 15 a.m., 12.20 p.m., and 3.55 p.m.

SATURDAY, APRIL 3. For Australian States, per Makeno from Auckland, at 0.15 a.m. (Due Sydney April oth.)

The times for closing mails for places beyond the Dominion are liahle to alteration (earlier or later). Registered letters, parcel post parcels, and, unless otherwise specified, moneyorders, close one hour before the ordinary mail.

EASTER HOLIDAYS, 1915.

The following hours will be observed by the Post and Telegraph Department on Good Friday, 2nd April, and Easter Monday, sth April:—

GOOD Fid DAY. Good Friday is to be observed as a Sunday. The Post Office will be closed in all branches.

The Telegraph Office will observe Sunday hours, namely, 9.30 to 10 a.m., and 5 to 5.30 p.m. The Telephone Exchange will continue open as usual.

Private Box Lobby.—Sunday hours will be observed.

Mails.—All mails will close at 8 p.m. on Thursday, April Ist. Railway Post Office will run as usual. Counter Delivery.—A delivery of town letters will be made over the post oJl'ice counter on Thursday evening, from 8 to 9 p.m.

EASTER MONDAY.

The Post Office will be open in all its brandies (except money-order and savings bank) from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. only. The Telegraph Office will be open froin 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., and 7 p.m. to midnight.

Telephone Exchange will continue open as usual. Private Box Lobby will observe usual hours.

Railway Post Office will run as usual. Mails.—All mails usually despatched on Monday will clo;,e at S a.m.

Counter Delivery.—a delivery of town letters will he made over the Post Office counter on Saturday evening, April 3rd, from 8 to 9 p.m.
