Petrograd, March 2.1. A ' communique states that the Ger'•mans are in disorderly flight on the Pilica River. They abandoned a quantity of soldiers' correspondence, whWi showed immense losses from starvation in the trenches. Berlin, March 20. Official. —General von Kluck was slightly injured by shrapnel while inspecting the trenches we captured at Tauroggen.
Petrograd, March 2!). A communique states:—We repulsed the Turks in the vicinity of Artvin. The enemy set fire to the town.
THE GERMAN OFFENSIVE REPULSED. FLANK MOVEMENT FAILS. Received March 31, 1.45 a.m. Petrograd, March 30. A communique says the German counter oll'ensive west of the Nicmen was everywhere stopped. The Germans attached enormous importance to the Nicmen offensive. The 31st division, with three reserve regiments and much cavalry, was ordered to push on to. Lodzie at all costs. The Germans, by prodigious efforts, attempted to envelope the Russian right north of Lodzie by crossing the frozen Luke Doussin. A larpe number penetrated the Russian rear but were entirely annihilated.
