MANAIA v. PIHAMA. Three rinks from the Manaia Bowling Club played Pihama on Friday for tinBanner and Fox shield, and wen; defeated by 32 points. The totals were, »fanaia 37, Pihama 69.
GILMOUE CUP SEMI-FINAL. The semi-final for the Gilmour Cup. which was played on the town green on Saturday between West End and fne New Plymouth B team proved a very keen contest. At the twenty-fifth head the aggregation scores were equal—(Hi all, Smart and Sole having each 26 to their credit. This necessitated another head being played, with the result that New Plymouth scored an additional t!iree points as against West End's two, the game thus being won by one point.
