NEW PLYMOUTH.
Subject to necessary alterations, mails close at the Chief Post Office as under:—
For Auckland and north, per steamer Tuesday and Thursday, at 7 p.m., and daily, per train, at C.15 a.m.
For Wellington and South, daily at C.15 a.m. and 12.20 p.m. For Wanganui and intermediate offices daily, at 0.15 a.m., 12.20 p.m., and 3.55 p.m.
WEDNESDAY, MARCH 31. For Samoa, Honolulu, Canada, United States of America, Continent of Europe, United Kinjrdom, via San Francisco, at 0.15 a.m. Supplementary at 12.20 o.m. For Australian States, Tasmania, Ceylon, India, Mauritius, Straits 'Settlements, China, Japan and Philippine Islands, also South Africa, at 12.20 p.m. (Due Sydney April sth:)
SATURDAY, APRIL 3. For Australian States, per Malieno from Auckland, at 0.15 a.m. (Due Sydney April 9th.)
The times for closing mails for places beyond the Dominion are liable to alteration (earlier or later).

EASTER HOLIDAYS, 1915. ■ The following hours will be observed by the Post and Telegraph Department on Good Friday, 2nd April, and Easter Monday, sth April:— GOOD-FRIDAY. Good Friday is to be observed as a Sunday. The Post Ofiice will be closed in all branches.
The Telegraph Office will observe Sunday hours, namely, 0.30 to 10 a.m., and 5 to 5.30 p.m. Tile Telephone Exchange will continue open as usual.
Private Box Lobby.—Sunday hours will be observed. Mails.—All mails will close at 8 p.m. on Thursday, April Ist. Railway Post Office will run as usual. Counter Delivery.—A delivery of town letters will be made over the post office counter on Thursday evening, from 8 to 9 p.m. EASTER MONDAY. The Post Office will be open in all its branches (except money-order and suing* bank) from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. only
The Telegraph Office will be opcii from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., and 7 p.m. to midnight. Telephone Exchange will continue open as usual. Private Box Lobby will observe usual hours. Kailway Post Office will run as usual. Mails.—All mails usually despatched on Monday will close at S a.m. Counter Delivery.— A delivery of town letters will be made over the Post Office counter on Saturday evening, April 3rd from Sto 9 p.m. " ' C R.
