The forts at Clianak are manned almost entirely by German?, a thousand of whom are in the forts or. both side? of the Narrows. The Allied Admirals have decided to use special warships to sweep the coa-.t-line yard by yard, owing to the danger from shore torpedo tube-. The Turks, fearing a Bulgarian onslaught, are nastily fortifying the Mari-keui-Luleburgas line.
There are 48,000 Tnrks ronccntxaVil on the siatie side of the Dardanelles and 10,000 near Gallipoli under German officers.
Bad weather enabled the Turks to < feef important repairs to the DardanelV forts and to Teplace the daraag-'d gun.
MINE-SWEEPING RESUMED.
