EDUCATION ACT, 1914. KLBCTIONB OP MEMBERS OF THE GENERAL COUNCIL OF EDUCATION. Education Department, Wellington, 16th March, 1915, ELECTIONS of Members of the General Council of Education will be held on the 10th MAY, 1915. The Poll will close at 5 o'clock on that day. Tea members are to he elected by the following eight classes of electors: Two members by the members of the Education Boards in the North Island, and two members by the members of die Education Boards in the South Island; one member by the certificated male teachers of public 9chools in the North Island, and one member by certifeated male teachers in the South Island; lone member by male teachers in aeeondary and technical schools; one member by certificated women teachers of public schools in the North Island, Mid one member by certificated women teachers of public schools in the South Island; one member by the women teachers of secondary and technical schools. Nominations will be received by the Betorning Officer up till 5 p.m. on the 20th APRIL, 1915, in the form prescribed by regulation dated 27th February, 1915. No person shall be eligible for election unless he is nominated by at least two electors entitled to vote for hi* election. For every election the joQs shall be closed on 20th April, 1015, and .(hall remain closed until the election is competed.
