The following were successful at tho theoretical examination held in connection with the above college in December last:—
Examinations for teachers' diplomas —Rudiments, Clarice Dorothy Herbert, 70 marks (Miss Smith, L.A.8., L.T.C.L.) Advanced junior,—Helga Helena Sorenson, 93 marks (Miss Young); Catherine May Hawes, 80 marks. (Miss Smith); Hope Dorecn Asher, 80 marks. (Miss Young). Junior division.—Lilian Maud Aroa, P3 marks (Miss Smith), Gertrude Augusta R. Skelton, 92 (Miss Smith). Preparatory.—Gwendoline E. Barnett 90 (Miss Smith); Frederick B, Butler 79 (Miss Smith).
