The weather was fine but windy ]";>)' the Warca sports on Wednesday. There was a fair attendance. The new grounds of the Domain Board were in fair order, considering the short time the board and club committee have had to attend to it. In another year the grounds should be in first-class order. Among other improvements a luncheon shed lias been built. The chopping took place below a terrace from which the judges could see well. Mrs George's orchestra was late in eoming,»owing to the weather. The gate takings amounted to £0 ISs. The booth, under the management of Mrs Larking and Mrs Stephenson, did a good business. Results: Maiden Chop.—l2in. Harrison 1, Tai 2, W. West 3. Eleven starters. A eloec finish, Tai being verv close up. 100 Yards—P. Holmes 1, D. Malone 2, B. Norman 3. Five starters. Handicap Chop, 12in.—W. A. White 1, J. Harrison 2, W. H. West 3. Sixteen started. A close finish. 220 Yards.—R. Dowman 1, D. Malone 2, H. Alexander 3. A good finish.
