FORECAST., By Telegraph.—Press Association,. Wellington, Last Nijht. Following i 3 Mr. Bates' weather' forecast::— Present indications are for a continuance of the cold unsettled weather, wifjh heavy showers over the North Island and in the north-cast districts of the South, and cold and changeable conditions elsewhere. Strong and squallv southerlies and south-easterly winds probable in and northwards 'of Cook Straits, and moderate to strong southerlies elsewhere. The 'barometer will rise in the north, but little movement in the south is at -present indicated.
