Mr. Clifton, New Zealand Commissioner at San Francisco, nns received al otter inviting the appointment of Now Zealand delegate* to an International Press Congress, to lie Tield there on -Inly 5 to 10. The Congress will not he sectarian, partisan, sectional, or national, hut will consider of import - a nee to tlie worlds journalism and seek to promote its highest interests. delegates are being invited from all over the United States. and five from every country represented at the exhibition, and are supposed to be chosen from the most representative snd eminent members of tin* profession. The New Zealand Government is asked to appoint five dfl"gates from the Dominion. and to further this end will be glad to receive tin* names of leading New Zealand journalist? who are likely to visit, the Exhibition before July 5.
