Morey, J. Dnunmond, T. Hogan, with Mr Fred M. Thompson as secretary and t.casurer, is to be congratulated for its excellent arrangements. ing were: Flag stewards, Messrs Topping and Lambert; mounted steward, Mr J. Waits. Mr J. 11. Winks, of Ha-n-era, was judge, and his decisions gave every satisfaction. In ths Class HI. open event the showing of (logs was very poor, only two dogs succeeding in scoring points, and the judge under the circumstances would not give a decision, and left it in the hands of the committee to deal with. There is a rule,
I forget what number, which distinctly says that if the dogs do not work up to th(! satisfaction of the jiidge the committee holds the right io retain the prize money, and I reai!" think it would be wise to enforce tho rule in this event.
