There \v;i.- a la rye attendance of buyers, including a good number from overseas, and competition wa; exceedingly keen. Prices for crossbred fleece were Id to 2'/.d per lb above those ruling at, th e February ' sale, while merinos were also linn. Pieces, bellies and locks sold at about last sale rates, while erntellings were a halfpenny to three-farthings dearer. A fair amount of slip ( > wool was offered and realised up to for crossbred and for lambs'.
