.NEW PLYMOUTH CLUB. The championship finals of the Xew Plymouth Club were played on Saturtiny afternoon in beautiful weather. J. C. Nicholson defeated C". P.. Webster fi-1, 7-5, in the men'* singles, and Miss Brewster defeated Miss V. Simpson 8-1, (S-3 iii, the final of the ladies' singles. XKW PLYMOUTH v. PARK. A' matc-U was played on Saturday between representatives of the New Plymouth and Park Cluhs, on the lattcr's courts, victory resting' with New Plymouth. WOODLEIGII v. TIIiONCIA. and Tironga teams met at Vogeltown on Saturday afternoon. The home team was weakened by the absence of several of its players, nnd the visitors won bv the substantial margin of 6G games.
