HOW THE REBELLION' WAS WORKED. Capetown, March 12. General Hortzog, in the Assembly, attributed the rebellion to the Governineiit's unconstitutional action. He admitted that the Government had done its duty in suppressing disorder. Mr. Xeser, chairman of committee, « announced that (General Beyers, on August 14, told the commandants that they were going to the border to <:•.'- ccivo Gorman guns and ammunition, and would then return to Pretoria and establish a republic. The rebels in Orangia have resolved to repay all damage. Some loyali ;is have merely claimed the cost price of articles commandeered.
